Join the Health Action Alliance on Thursday, July 27 at 2pm ET / 11am PT as we empower business leaders to tackle what the U.S. Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy, has declared an “Epidemic of Loneliness” in America.
Earlier this year, the U.S. Surgeon General sounded the alarm on an epidemic of loneliness in the United States. Loneliness has detrimental effects on both the health of your workers and your business. Studies show that workers who lack connection are less productive, more withdrawn, and experience higher rates of stress, anxiety and depression.
Business leaders who recognize and address this challenge can create workplaces where team members feel connected and empowered. This, in turn, can help attract and retain top talent.
Featured Speakers:
Sohini Stone, Chief Medical Officer for Global Employee Health, Google
Jerry Golden, Head of Public Policy and Government Affairs, Eventbrite
Kimberly Serrano, Director, Center for Inclusion and Belonging at the American Immigration Council
Aimee Hollis MBA, Director, Global Wellbeing, Thermo Fisher Scientific
Explore ways to assess the impact of loneliness in your organization, and get tips from business leaders and industry experts to foster connection and belonging. We’ll focus on strategies to address remote workers' unique mental health challenges by intentionally creating more collaborative and supportive work environments.
