One Day At A Time Ministries
More than 20 million children live in a home without the physical presence of a father. Millions more have dads who are physically present, but emotionally absent. If it were classified as a disease, fatherlessness would be an epidemic worthy of attention as a national emergency. The impact of fatherlessness can be seen in our homes, schools, hospitals, and prisons. In short, fatherlessness is associated with almost every social ill facing our children today. The negative effects of fatherlessness on children is a reality that we all must come to grips with. Daily, we see the consequences of this epidemic play out on social media and the news. Our children are under “new age” pressures and they don’t know how to properly manage conflict.
One Day at a Time Ministries invests in the lives of single mothers, young children, and new fathers through value-based relationships.
